Reach Out for Prayer & Community

Gathered in His Name began in April 2025 when founders Nicole D. Hayes and Andrea J. Radtke felt a powerful call to prayer. Motivated by our love for God and others, we established this ministry to intercede for those seeking salvation, deliverance, healing, peace, and more. Our ministry is rooted in obedience to God’s command to pray (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).

 

We believe that through prayer, our communities can encounter Christ’s profound love and transformative power. In a world experiencing increasing “groaning pains” (Romans 8:22-23), we seek to advance Jesus’ ministry on earth—proclaiming good news to the poor, setting captives free, healing the sick, comforting the mourning, and reconciling the lost to Christ, as foretold in Isaiah 61 and Luke 4. We know prayer works, and we’re committed to seeing God move miraculously in lives. Come and experience the power of His presence with us!

Gathered in His Name exists to faithfully obey God’s call to prayer, fervently interceding for others to bring about a move of God in our lives, homes, communities, nation, and the world.

To see Christ’s transforming power manifest in our community, resulting in awakened hearts, broken chains, and miraculously restored, fully reconciled lives.

Values: What We Believe

Jesus is our foundation. Our sole affiliation is to Him; His agenda is our only agenda. Our deepest desire is to see people set free through Him.

 

We believe prayer is our active cooperation with God to accomplish His purposes. We come to the Father, in the power of the Holy Spirit, asking in Jesus’ Name for His will to be done.

 

We stand together in agreement, trusting Jesus’ promise: “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” (Matthew 18:20). We believe in the miraculous power of intercession.

Prayer is a sacred dialogue with the Living God, offering a unique chance to share our hearts and listen for His voice. In His holy presence, we find freedom to praise Him, humbly confess our sins, and present our requests, trusting in a God who attentively listens and faithfully responds.

We look to the Bible as the definitive source for all truth concerning prayer—its power, practical application, and divine promises. Jesus provides our model for prayer (Matthew 6:9-13) and calls us to be persistent and watchful in prayer (Matthew 7:7-11; Matthew 26:41). He assures us in John 15:7, "If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you." Thus, a vibrant prayer life is built upon an intimate, dependent relationship with Christ and a deep love for His Word.
